Special Events

Joseph Decuis features many special events during the course of the year designed to offer our guests unique opportunities to meet legendary chefs and authors, enjoy wine tasting, special dinners, and art shows. Our Farm to Fork events which take place out on our farm include our Annual Organic Wine Dinner in July, the Wine & Wagyu Dinner in May or June and Harvest Farm & Oktoberfest Dinner in October. These have become popular events as well as our Courtyard Wine Tastings in the summer and the Vineyard & Fireside Lunches year round. We also offer special culinary classes each month in our Culinarium and a variety of events throughout the year. Don't forget to check here for what's coming up soon.

Yoga and Wine in the Courtyard

Monday evenings at 6pm
Relax and enjoy-Mondays don't have to be painful!

Join fitness expert Valerie Powers of Powers of One as she hosts fitness Yoga al fresco in our serene courtyard on certain Mondays. It's an hour of peaceful yet challenging yoga followed by wine and appetizers from Joseph Decuis.

Bring your own mat, and be sure to make reservations through Valerie, these classes fill up quickly. $25/person

Farm to Fork Events

Thursday, 6pm July 16, October 8
Join us for a fabulous dinner on the farm. Pete and Alice Eshelman host this event at Heritage Farm, just six miles from Joseph Decuis. See first hand where we raise our exclusive Wagyu Beef, our heirloom chickens and grow our all natural herbs and vegetables. Take a wagon tour through the sprawling property, sip a relaxing glass of wine and then dine under the stars on a savory and delicious six-course extravanganza matched perfectly with wines.

All dinners cost $175/person and are all inclusive (food, beverages, tax and gratuity are included).

Reservations are required for this event, and everybody is welcome!

Hot off the Grill! Emporium Cookouts...

Fridays, Starting May 1st, 11am-6pm
We are cooking out Rain or Shine! We grill right outside on the sidewalk.
Heritage Farm Wagyu Beef of course: Grilled Burgers! House-made Corned Beef on Rye with "Local Mustard"! BBQ Wagyu Roast Beef!
Lemonades, Honest Tea and a roaring good time.

Please note, cookouts are at the Emporium, not at the restaurant. We do not take reservations.

Courtyard Wine Tastings

Culinarium Classes

Saturdays at 1pm
We have a new, special kitchen for production and instruction called the Culinarium. The cost for these classes is $65 and includes hands-on participation, tastings and a very good time! Space is limited and reservations are required.

Classes in 2009 will start at 1pm! Please note new time.
