Joseph Decuis features five distinct dining rooms and a meeting room — each with its own character.
Club Creole is our formal dining room and bar, located in the historic State Bank of Roanoke building. The setting is dramatic and striking with Cuban yellow walls and dark woodwork. Two original bank vaults house a walk-in humidor and wine cellar.
Café Creole is our entry dining room and features our exhibition kitchen and elegant chef’s table. Amid Old World ambiance, guests can experience the excitement of our culinary artists at work.
Our Conservatory brings the al fresco dining experience indoors amid lush plants and the warm glow of gas lanterns. Flooded with sunlight by day, the room sparkles at night as an elegant and romantic setting.
The Courtyard is a large, sequestered patio that, weather-permitting, invites al fresco dining. With Creole charm and surrounded by gardens, it provides a memorable outdoor setting for dining and special events.
Our Gallery Board Room (and adjacent reception room) are available for private meetings and dining. Located in the attached cottage, this charming room’s highlights are the ancient teak table seating twenty and the beautiful artwork on display.
The Presidential Board Room welcomes business meetings and retreats. Conveniently located across Main Street from the restaurant, the Presidential Board Room is great for day rentals and a catered Joseph Decuis lunch. The Board Room seats up to fourteen people.
